I'm so glad you have an interest in Emily Danielle Photography! Here is a little bit about me, so you can get to know who I am as a person and a photographer.  I sincerely hope I will get to meet you in the nearby future.

Let me introduce myself for a second. I am currently a sophomore at Colorado State University, studying Natural Sciences with a Chemistry Education concentration and Chemistry. Long story short, I went from wanting to be a veterinarian, to wanting to be a horse therapist, to being a counselor, and now landing on a science teacher. I know, the progression seems strange, but it is the right fit for me. I love people and I love helping them in every way I can, whether that be teaching or capturing special moments in their lives.

If I could capture every moment in time I would, the good and the bad, because that is what makes us who we are. If you have any questions regarding my story, how I came to photography, or why I do what I do, please contact me and let me know more about yourself and how I can help you!

In order for you to know me, it is imperative you know about my family.  My family is the backbone of who I am as an artist, student and as a person.  I have two amazing parents who I aspire to be like in their motivation, in their love for everyone around them, their determination and their love of Christ.  My two older siblings are the backbone of my stubbornness, but also they taught me how to love well, be myself and have fun while walking through life.  I am proud to say I now have a third sibling, as my brother just was married in 2015.  My sister-in-law is an inspiration and a joy to have as a part of the family.

Here is a quote from an essay, one that I wrote as my college essay:

Everyone is different, each with his or her own personality and story. I am a storyteller, though not in the conventional way one might assume. As I have grown in my art, by looking through my lens, I have also learned to gaze past it. Every person I see on the street is marked by their beauty and not their flaws; the little things that make them beautiful.
— Emily

My goal is to capture the little things, the big things and anything in between. I aspire to capture love, happiness, joy, and so much more. I want to be able to tell your story so that others may "read" it in the years to come.

Now that you have made it to the end of my life story, I ask that you contact me with any questions you may have.  I am more than willing to talk with you and more than anything, I would be honored to meet you!

Let me be cliche for a moment.

A few of my favorite things:

cuddling in a blanket with a book and some hot chocolate: sitting in class and learning new things: laughing until three in the morning with people I love: spending time with my Savior Jesus: planning for the future: riding a horse into the sunset: knowing that I get to capture some of the best times of a person's life.
