Dillon and Kelsey

I have known Kelsey for a DECADE. It's crazy to think that the first time I met her was on a basketball court and she was on the other team. My mom pointed her out as the one with the curly blonde hair and the "great basketball player." I came to know that she is AMAZING in so, so many ways.

I hadn't seen her in two years when I found out she was engaged, so I promptly told her I was taking her engagement and wedding photos. Thus, I met Dillon for the first time. He is such a gentleman and takes such good care of Kelsey, so I 100% approve.

Without further ado, here are Kelsey and Dillon's engagement photos (which I am in love with their love if that is a thing?)

In the words of a close friend, "No. Wait. She CANNOT BE A SENIOR!!" Those words are held so true to me and everyone else that knows Maggie. She is incredibly mature, loving, kind-hearted, talented and oh so much more. Without a doubt, Maggie has become one of my closest friends throughout my time in Illinois. She is one of the people who has made Illinois feel like home. So when I asked her/was asked to do her senior photos I was incredibly blessed and honored. This lovely smile is something to behold, that is for sure.

It feels like yesterday I met Mia at church, and my initial thoughts of her included "Oh I never could be her friend, because she is so popular." I could not have been more wrong in my life. This girl has helped me through some of my highest of highs and lowest of lows. And now... she is a SENIOR. My mind is blown. I know that wherever she goes in life, she will be a bright, beckoning light to all those around her. I'm so very proud of her, and she NAILED her senior pics. (And look at those blue eyes!!)

Nikki's a Senior!

The first time I met her was the day of our shoot, however, I had heard so much about her before. From what I have heard, she is amazing, kind, and gorgeous. I loved being able to work with her, and she was made for the camera. Now, I hope you enjoy the pictures as much as I enjoyed taking them!

Tage & Susan + 1

Hello all! Sorry for my hiatus, school as a Senior in high school tends to become overwhelming. But, as I reach the home stretch I have been asked to take more and more photos.

To start off, we have Tage and Susan, who are absolutely amazing. They have a wonderful sense of humor, never failing to make me laugh when I spend time with them. Needless to say, they are gonna have a baby (or by the time I wrote this, the baby already has come, but I digress.) I have known them for a while now, and I know without a doubt they are going to be some of the best parents ever. Well, without further ado, I give you their maternity pictures!

2015 in Review

I have been blessed richly during 2015. I don't know what I would have done without the constant support of my family, friends and clients. This year I began on my journey of doing weddings and I am happy to say that I am looking forward to continuing on in that area. I was accepted into college, I was blessed with a new sister-in-law and the many friendships I forged over the year. I know that 2015 changed me for the good, and I begin to look forward to new heights and aspirations in 2016.

Now what you have probably been waiting for, some of my favorites from 2015, and let me tell you, it feels like there are too many to even begin to share.

All this suffice to say, that it has been an amazing year, and I can't thank everyone enough for how they have allowed me to grow and to change.

Krone Family

The Krone Family is one of the most genuine families I know! Needless to say, that means that their photos were absolutely fantastic.  I think my favorite part of the shoot was when JP was super excited to show his parents and his sisters how to stand for the fun family photo. To date, that may be my favorite family photo I have ever taken.

Bekah... a Senior??

I have known Bekah since we were both in the eighth grade. She is one of the most talented artists I know, and she is one of the most genuine people I know. She puts others first, she is insightful and thoughtful. Also... not one of her pictures turned out badly. Not. one. How in the heck is that possible? I guess the pictures will have to speak for themselves.

Sen and Taylor Tie the Knot

Their wedding was on my last website, and now as I switch over to my new site, I thought it valuable to revisit Sen and Taylor's wonderful wedding.

As I walked into the church, I told myself "I'm going to be okay. We are going to get the best photos possible... Nope. Having a mental breakdown. I need help..." These thoughts immediately were taken away when I met Sen and Taylor and their wedding went perfectly. They were welcoming, funny and their day was surely something to be remembered. So, I leave you with the gorgeous photos from their wedding day. They are most definitely some of the most photogenic people I know!
